Island Hopper Songwriter Fest
A 10-day music festival with venues covering (hopping!) Downtown Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach and Captiva Island, Island Hopper Songwriter Fest features national talent as well as up-and-coming local artists. 2019's festival will run September 20-29. 31st Annual J.N. "Ding" Darling Days
2019 marks the 31st annual J.N. "Ding" Darling Days, a family-oriented eco-friendly celebration in Sanibel's National Wildlife Refuge. The festival offers all-free refuge tram tours, live wildlife presentations, birding, boating,
kayaking, food and more. October 19-20.
Cape Coral Oktoberfest
Live music, dancing and German beer await you in nearby Cape Coral, just 25 minutes north of Sanibel. The fest runs over the course of two full Fall weekends, October 18th-20th and the weekend of October 25th-27th. In addition to the beer garden and unique German cuisine there are plenty of exhibits and other things to do, including a Carnival and Bounce House for kids.
